During our visit to Meghalaya, our group of 30 enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Royal View Resort. The rooms were clean, cozy, and provided us with a comfortable retreat during our trip. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the incredible staff members who went above and beyond to cater to our every need and request. From arranging an early breakfast buffet to promptly switching on the centralised heater early, they were always eager to assist us. While our experience was largely positive, we would suggest the hotel consider expanding the options available in their breakfast buffet. Nonetheless, the proximity of the hotel to the double-decker bridge trek, just 100m away, makes it a prime choice for anyone embarking on that adventure. Overall, Royal View Resort offers a comfortable stay with excellent service, making it a must-consider option for travellers in Meghalaya.

Its very near to starting point of double decker bridge trek.. ambience is nice but rooms are very basic and costly. The price they are charging for executive rooms seems very expensive. Food is tasty I ordered kadhai chicken it was good but there was excessive oil that it was floating above.

Everything is awesome. Staff, ambience, location, food, room asthetic etc the best. Points to remember: 1. Rooms at ground floor lacks ventilation. Avoid picking those. 2. There is only 1 tourist spot near this : double decker living root bridge trek. So choose this one only when planning to visit living root bridge. __________ 3. Food here is extremely tasty and available at very low prices. This is the best part.

Pros - clean room & bathroom, fantastic view, polite staff, located near the double decker root bridge. ||Cons - hotel management does not do a good job controlling unruly guests. We couldn't sleep the whole night because of noisy guests roaming around the corridors, screaming.|Breakfast option is limited, poori baaji on both days.

After completing the Double Decker Bridge Trek, I came here for lunch. The place is good, the service was excellent and quick. The taste was good, but the prices are a bit high.

Rooms and service is great. Also the location of hotel is next to starting point of Living Root Bridge Double Decker. The issue with the property is Wifi as there are network issues in the area, they have not installed routers in floors, hence no access to internet. Also I had an argument with Hotel Manager : Alex, as he charged me with the water bottles which was supposed to be given as a complimentary. He justified that even if you're staying for 7 days, only 1 day complementary water would be given.

Only super deluxe suites r good. Kitchen staff should be trained & well groomed. Need to work on hygiene while serving food. Staff should not be allowed to eat gutkha while taking food orders & while cooking & serving food. Its awful

Toma were a bit cozy. Also they have voltage problems and your rooms will be suffocating without proper ventilation. Every night the power goes off around 1 am and sometimes we need to go and wake up the room boy to turn on the generator. Food was very good here.
